Естественная смертность - та часть животных, которая умирает от естественных причин - старость, болезни, уничтожение хищниками.
Промысловая смертность - то часть животных, которая изъята из природы человеком в рамках промышленной добычию
Общая смертность - все виды смертности вместе взятые, т.е. посчитали сколько было рождено, допустим в прошлом году и вычесть сколько осталось в текущем году.
КОэффициент эксплуатации (промысловой) - отношение количества пойманной рыбы к количеству рыб, погибших от всех причин
Total Mortality (Z)
Total mortality represents the overall death rate of a fish population within a specified period. It combines all causes of death, which include:
- Natural mortality (M): Deaths that occur due to natural processes such as old age, disease, predation, or environmental factors.
- Fishing mortality (F): Deaths resulting from human activities, primarily fishing
- Exploitation Rate (E): The exploitation rate is the proportion of total mortality that is attributed to fishing. It is calculated using the following formula: E = F/Z
Interpretation:
- E = 0: No fish are being caught.
- E = 1: All deaths in the population are due to fishing.
- 0 < E < 1: Indicates that some fish die naturally while others are caught by fishing.
