What questions do you incorporate in your surveys (on non-covid related topics) to be able to correct for behavioral change due to the sars-cov2 epidemic? I will be doing a survey on HIV and HIV-risk behavior in order to estimate PrEP-eligibility, but people have changed their sexual behavior significantly due to the sars-cov2 epidemic. What questions could I ask, or have you asked, to gain insight into how much people have changed their behavior, and if this change will be long-lasting or depended on direct threat level of sars-cov2?

However, I would be interested in these questions. Please adjust the wording to fit your needs.
1. How many sexual partners in the last sixty days as compared to the first two months of this year?
2. Are you more cautious about meeting new people or becoming intimate with others since the pandemic?
3. Has your drug/alcohol use increased since the beginning of the pandemic?
4. How do you meet potential sexual partners currently, as compared to before the pandemic?
I would probably talk to a public health nurse or someone that you know that screens these kinds of patients. I have a friend who works at an STD Clinic, and the STD rates in our county are largely comparable pre/post-pandemic.
