The curriculum design for higher education should be based on social utility.

This is an easy question for me - I would like to prioritise social and emotional skills development. I believe this area has not been given enough focus and also feel that there needs to be a more consistent approach taken across the EU (and elsewhere) to better enable comparative research aimed at assessing the efficacy of any interventions that are employed.

If anyone else is interested in this area, I'd be more than happy to discuss this in detail, as this is an area that I've been researching for some years.

1. Forcing habilitants to take part in teaching courses. RIght now they are not professionalised.

2. Forcing each professor to take part in teaching courses at least once a year.

3. Enforce a law that states that all masters made within the EU in the same field have to be treated as a domiciled university degree.

4. Give Phd students the right to teach officialy within a department.

5. Yearly evaluation of professors by their staff, revised by the department or even the ministry.

Unfortunately, modern approaches to learning obsolete faster than the requirements for them. The complex solutions of this problem are a priority.

Speaking in general terms of "Systemic Changes in Higher Education", I do suggest next paper!

We have to redesign our curriculum and make it up to date ,we have to take into consideration the needs of students, teachers and stakeholders .The most important thing is to focus on practice .

Focus on producing graduates who are capable of increasing and sustaining the national produce not just producing graduates for the job market.

I would make it more open to stakeholders and society. We are used to "from inside (university) to outside" knowledge flows but I think we should have more "from outside (stakeholders, society in general) to inside" knowledge flows. In order to facilitate and develop these "new" flows, there should be more cross-, trans and interdisciplinary teaching and research.

I think any higher education system should solve current problems of its society (mission).

I would redirect the curriculum of all majors based on this fact and empowering of all graduates not just giving them a certificate.

If I am given the right to bring changes in higher education system, I would recommend more interest in green environment and social responsibility.
