During the summer holidays there are many students who devote their time to continue study after a year of study, but are actually benefited from this practice/choice? On the other hand, there is counter-argumentation upon this practice/choice/"necessity". Dear friends and colleagues, which is your opinion/argumentation -based on the personal or educational or professional experience (e.g from summer schools) of you or yours- upon studying at summer?
As a student I was also in a summer school for physicians, although I was there the exceptional person as an amateur. It was very interesting, organized by the university, mostly by a very famous person, by Dr. Gyula Dávid. We have our haus in a forest. In the first year we learned about the mathematical treatment of the relativistic spacetime by Dr. Tamás Matolcsi and in the second year about topology by Dr. Richárd Rimányi. Both professors work at the Eötvös University, Hungary. We were there about 20 or 30, e.g. the whole physician class and a few invited teachers and amateurs. In the morning we had classes and afternoon we went into the city to go out or to bathing. Or we made excursions in the forest. Everything was very romantic and free. We could freely ask questions from our teachers and from each other. It gave birth for big discussions about the newest results. I liked it.
