Currently I'm using the combined polymer chemistry and physics textbook by Cowie and Arrighi, Polymers: Chemistry and Physics of Modern Materials, in my MSc course in our Textile Engineering programme. The content is really nice for the course but it's written for chemists or chemical engineers and my students are struggling with the language and to digest certain parts of it. I'm looking for alternatives. Recommendations?
Sperling + Odian is an option - but rather costly for the students.
The following book may fulfill your needs particularly because you are looking for MSc level Polymer Technology book and not basically a book on Polymer Chemistry and Physics. This book is focused on Rheology and Processing and may be of pragmatic value for the students.

in addition to the book of Prof Shenoy et. al., the book of Prof. Gogos 'Principles of polymer processing' is so recommanded. I have both of them but rather voluminous to be attached. Regards

Thanks for the PDF's. However due to copyrights issues I cannot forward them to my students. I put them there as an example of the level that I'm opting for. As Aroon Shenoy realized the polymer processing part is missing and I'm already using other sources to handle that gap. Thanks for your tips.

Most documents I upload are available and free on most convential search engines. I think for personal and non-commercial uses there is no harm, otherwise commercial compagnies should find solutions to restrict there free circulation on the Web. My opinion is to give these books to your students and stress on the strict personel use. Regards
