You better submit your research proposal through your Institution, where you are working to UGC or ICSSR or TATA Institute of Social Science Research, Mumbai (MS) for the sanction of funds for your research project.

If you mean funding institutions, I would suggest that you approach all listed ones even though I don't rely much on them. Good luck.

You can approach NFCG

Write a proposal and identify research question that YOU are interested in and then shape the name around that. If you use something else from someone else the chance of failure is greater.

Try the CFA Institute in India. Also, some large institutional investors on Dalal street.

Try RBI, since your subjects are in areas they would be interested in.
