From students' perspective, what are the attributes that make any University - The Best?
Let's see how many of us can visualize the parameters that are important to students. I wanted to know because most of the universities at the start of admission season keep advertising about their accreditation, ranking, positions, research culture, patents filed, placements, and faculty achievements not in terms of their academic accomplishment & contribution but in terms of the degree and position, they have held.
I am curious to know what attributes students are looking for or expecting from any university before deciding to take the admission call.

Finding a job after graduation. Many universities advertise by the percentages of their graduates who find decent jobs after graduation, in comparison with other universities also.
CA Vinod Kr Sharma , Students go to the university that its graduates find a job or find more job chances, this parameter is declared by universities.

1. Choices of Courses and Programs
2. Course and Program recognition/approval by concerned authorities.
3. Course/Program Fees
4. Transparency if Fees details and collection
5. Scholarship Schemes
6. Transportation Facility (as applicable)
7. Overall Campus Infrastructure & Environment
8. Campus Facilities
9. Personality Development
10. Alumni Feedback - Branding
Students are least concerned with the following:
1. No. of Patents Filed
2. No. of Conferences & Seminars organized
3. Research & Development Cell
4. Degrees of the Faculty Members
5. Number of Courses & Programs offered
You will be surprised to note that during admission season none of the Institutions focus on what students are actually looking for before deciding for the admissions.
How fast students are able to graduate without any major itch is what matters most to them and thus a marjor criteria with which students conceive and rate universities as good, better, or best.
