Albert could teach Dr Oppenheim a thing or two. The need by the doctor to introduce randomness into spacetime suggests spacetime already has the properties of quantum particles. Therefore, quantum gravity is the way to go. A paper by Albert asked if gravity plays a role in the composition of elementary particles. This has the potential to unite gravity - the curvature of spacetime - with quantum particles. A particle in the slit experiment would be the result of the one gravitational field composing the universe. The field can't split in two. So, the particle's seeming appearance in two places at once is the result of our limited understanding plus the restrictions of the limited technology we build and use for experiments.
how to unify this assumption in the light of multi-universe model?
To unify the one gravitational field of the universe with the multiverse model, Wick rotation can be used to represent time which is built into each of the gravitons and photons composing space. A brief description of Wick rotation is - The complex plane reveals i’s special relationship with cycles via the circle of i, also known as Wick rotation. Whenever a point on the complex plane is multiplied by i, it moves a quarter rotation around the origin or center of the plane (see attached file).
The counterclockwise rotation does not have to encompass 360 degrees. It can be divided into single degrees – and even arcseconds which are 3,600 times smaller than a degree. Each arcsecond (or tiny part of it) could correspond to a separate dimension and the total dimensions might make up a temporal multiverse reminiscent of string theory, the cosmological framework that says particles are composed of one-dimensional objects called strings (the Internet says a group of binary digits is called a single-dimensional bit string). The gravitational field composing the spatial universe would include all of these temporal elements. Therefore, there would actually be only one cosmos since the multiverse is united with the universe.

The problem of quantum gravity is that of constructing its space of states. The space of states of classical gravity is, already, incomplete and this is expressed in the inevitability of spacetime singularities.
What string theory provides are the degrees of freedom that can resolve certain spacetime singularities, namely those of extremal black holes. Therefore it can provide a consistent space of states.
There do remain many issues to be understood, however.
Neither Einstein, nor Oppenheim address these issues at all. That's why they don't have anything to say about quantum gravity.
Classical gravity is a gauge theory-but with a noncompact gauge group. That's the reason for the inevitability of spacetime singularities. What is the quantum theory, whose classical limit is invariant under a noncompact gauge group isn't known. That's the problem that must be solved.
