I have produced a data set detailing if a person has been published within over 3 different years.
The number of years the person has been published in has been recorded (1,2,3).
I am looking to see if a man is more likely than a woman to be be republished, or published across all 3 years.
I am considering performing a multinomial regression, then looking if productivity is possibly another covariate or more important factor, but am pretty damn afraid this is not the correct test to perform.
My data is attached, just a lil bit of advice would be hugely appreciated
Don't be afraid! There are no rules in the choice of statistical tests. Regression examines cause and effect, so is probably fine as long as your data meets the criteria :)

It seams that you need to employ an event count models. Google "event count model" or "count data" or "event counts".
