Statistical Analyses in exploratory research?

I am collecting on 2 DVs and 1 in which the resulting stat is a continuous variable.

This is exploratory research so I have not made predictions.

What is the most appropriate statical analysis to use? ANOVA, MANOVA, or do I need to go in a different direction altogether?
