Dear colleagues:
We plan to investigate resistance of different cultivars of pea Pisum sativum to the pea aphid Acyrtosiphon pisum. For this research, we would like to obtain different clones or biotypes of the pea aphid. I would greatly appreciate if you could point me to sources of those different aphid clones in Germany.

Have you try with researchers in the Department of Biochemistry, Max Planck Institute for Chemical Ecology in Jena?

They worked with three pea aphid (A. pisum Harris) clones, each representing one
pea aphid host race: clone L84 representing the Medicago race (here called MR), the clone T3-8V1 representing the Trifolium race (TR), and the clone Colmar representing the Pisum race (PR).
