One suggestion could be to give a hybrid lecture, the mathematical analysis and the discussion both side by side.

I tjonk it is important to integrate qualitative and quantitative approach wherever possible. You can't do a lot if you give only mathematical solution without knowing the qualitative reasoning and explanation, for example in marketing.
