Some metals/alloys show a static recrystallisation texture close to that of the deformation one. These are usually not expected due to the oriented nucleation and oriented growth theories which specify directions/planes which favour crystal growth. Can someone shed some light on this specific issue?

It is well known that the martensitic phase transformation from the austenitic phase in the steel normally occurs during the rapid quenching processes of the austenite phase.
So, because the martensitic phase transformation is dependent on a shear mechanism for the transformation rather than on a diffusion mechanism, it could be that in the case of "some metals/alloys show a static recrystallisation texture close to that of the deformation one", is due to a shear mechanism in the static recrystallization processes.
Whether it's dynamic or static it always depends upon stability of that orientation and prior texture effect.
It could be that an unstable phase retains in a stable phase after phase transformation, i.e., unstable austenitic phase in stable martensitic phase. Then, the unstable austenitic phase goes through a static recrystallisation texture closely to that of the stable martensitic phase, which originally forms by a deformation (shear )mechanism.
