Colleagues! Please help with information on methods for identifying somatotropin in a contraband substance. Our customs officers confiscated presumably somatotropin in ampoules. The object is new to them. They don't know how to identify it by simple methods. Does anyone have an IR spectrum of a somatotropin sample?

Everything is simple - read on the package. Now you need to confirm or refute the information about the contents of the ampoules. The substance is controlled quite recently - control procedures have not yet been worked out.

There is impossible to do so reliably by means of IR.
It can be done, currently only by means of soft-ionization mass spectrometry; furthermore, only using our own authored (to me and my co-author according to the publications shown below) innovative and exact mass spectrometric theory and model equations. They yield to chemometric parameter /r/=1 quantifying analytes in condensed phases. Also, they determine analyte 3D molecular and electronic structures even in complex mixtures; even in presence of complex sample matrix effect.
