When i am looking for a solvent which can completely dissolve polyethylene and polypropylene. I found that tetrahydrofuran solvent widely used in analytical centers in India were gel permeation chromatography are exist. So far i couldn't found in literature regarding the solubility of polypropylene and polyethylene in tetrahydrofuran.
A table from agilent technologies clearly states the solubility of polymers for GPC. whether tetrahydrofuran is suitable for solubility of Polypropylene and polyethylene?

You answered your own question when you found the table example (but you may want to consult a Polymer analysis handbook too), but be sure to compare which form or type of the polymer you will actually use (polypropylene and polyethylene) as these come in different commercial forms which may vary in Mw. 1,2,3-TrichloroBenzene (not THF) is commonly used to dissolve and analyze them at 145C in many forms, for GPC analysis.
Dear all, being highly crystalline polymers they are almost totally insoluble in all solvants maily at room temperature. At high temperatures they are soluble in naphta. My Regards

PP and PE can be dissolved in nonpolar solvents such as p-xylene, tetralin, decalin and a mixture of 1,2,4-trichlorobenzene and butylated hydroxytoluene at 160 °C.
