I have recorded an endothermic and exothermic peak for a salts mixture (eutectic) at the same temperature (heating/cooling cycle) through DSC but the recorded cooling curve (classical cooling curve) has not detected that change . Do you think that can the solid-solid phase transition be detected by cooling down a melted salts mixture?

Please show the data and share composition. If the endotherm is a melting event, perhaps you formed a glass on cooling - in which case you should see a Tg, glass transition step, in the cooling curve.

Here is the attached DSC results for KF-ZrF4(%58-%42) and relevant phase diagram.The melting point of the eutectic salt mixture is 390 oC and some authors reported 420 and 438 oC. Also, material containing Zr can make a glass compound. The attached shows the DSC curves at different ramp rates 40, 20, 10 and 5 0C/min.
Okay, this is a complex system, but at least some insight comes from consulting the phase diagram from A. V. Novoselova, Yu. M. Korenev, and Yu. P. Simanov, Dokl. Akad. Nauk SSSR, 139 [4] 892-894 (1961).
Dear Oliver, what did you understand from the DSC result and phase diagram, I think the composition has changed during the formation of the eutectic. We have recorded the phase transitions at 422 and 500 0C over classical cooling curves when we made the eutectic compound.
