I am trying to compile a database of smart-textile / e-textile specific failure modes / damage cases. Examples could be breakages at interconnections, delaminations, loss of silver coating in conductive fabrics, ... It would be intersting where in a smart textile system these damages occur most frequent and under which type of strain (cyclic tensile testing, washing, temperature change, ...)
The idea behind a database like this is to make it easier to assess critical points in smart textiles on which to focus in reliability testing.
If anyone can share some of their experience in that field it would be greatly apprciated!
