I have read that primary particles are of few nm before they agglomerate and form bigger particles.
Does the size of primary particles depend on conditions of reaction such as concentration, rate of reaction or is it constant size regardless of the reaction parameter?
Formation of nuclei from powder is a function of mass of feed and the droplets of water added. The sooner the powder becomes nuclei the faster will be the growth. Powder size range and moisture addition method n size range of nuclei are the key growth factors both in terms of agglomerate size n strength

there is a relation among critical nuclei size and thermodynamics. during nucleation. there are an energy to create a surface and other related to grow the volume of a particle. you can find this in crystallization texts books.
