T.J. Walker (Thomas J Walker) has published many papers relating to sounds and social interactions in crickets. Maybe you can apply some of the techniques he used. You might find them on Google Scholar, or in The Florida Entomologist.

actually, we are studying some aspects related to the acoustic interactions between American bullfrogs and native anurans.

Taran Grant published two papers on the impact of bullfrog chorusing on the native anuran vocalization:

Dear Maniunath, microhabitat used for chorusing by bullfrogs are the shoreline and the especially the shallow water along the shoreline. As for reproduction, bullfrog oviposits clutches in shallow water, usually close to aquatic or emerged vegetation.
