T.J. Walker (Thomas J Walker) has published many papers relating to sounds and social interactions in crickets. Maybe you can apply some of the techniques he used. You might find them on Google Scholar, or in The Florida Entomologist.
actually, we are studying some aspects related to the acoustic interactions between American bullfrogs and native anurans.
Taran Grant published two papers on the impact of bullfrog chorusing on the native anuran vocalization:
C Both, T Grant 2012. Biological invasions and the acoustic niche: the effect of bullfrog calls on the acoustic signals of white-banded tree frogs - Biology Letters,
CI Medeiros, C Both, T Grant, SM Hartz 2017. Invasion of the acoustic niche: variable responses by native species to invasive American bullfrog calls - Biological Invasions
Leonardo Vignoli sir or anybody who are working in the feild of amphibians can suggest me any macro and micro habitat selection for calling or for breeding purpose please let me know
Dear Maniunath, microhabitat used for chorusing by bullfrogs are the shoreline and the especially the shallow water along the shoreline. As for reproduction, bullfrog oviposits clutches in shallow water, usually close to aquatic or emerged vegetation.
