Which tool or enviroment is needed for research on computional offloading in Mobile Cloud Computing?OS and HW config needed for the tool are also much awaited
Could you at least give a little bit more information about the scope of this simulation you would do, as well as the kind of computing that will be done?
Do you want to simulate directly connected nodes in a P2P mobile cloud or a cloud with a centralised routing node?
Do you want to simulate simpler mathematical calculations done in a distributed fashion with possible parallel processing?
Do you want to simulate executions of full operating systems (each in a separate VM process) with the network also being simulated through a virtual adapter (interface)?
More information is needed if you want someone to give a concrete suggestion regarding HW and SW requirements for such a project.
