Please give differences in terms of characterization of particles and mechanism, reaction, products when it is used in treating contaminated water (like treatment for NO3, etc.). Cite or mention your references please.
An interesting question , the most burning issue talked so heavily...
this is a review over a variety of conventional and Green synthesis methodologies of Iron Oxide nanoparticle. Our primary focus, here, is to put up a critical comparison among the conventional and Green synthesis methods based on their physical and magnetic properties. The Green synthesis has been believed to be relatively cost effective, ecofriendly, pollutant free, rapid, one-step process, less time and energy consuming and providing homogenous composition, high yield with narrow size distribution compared to other techniques. However several issues such as environmental reactivity, self-aggregation etc. without losing the super paramagnetic behaviour need to be explored and rectified with a more controlled and efficient approaches in natural synthesis methodologies.
