Previously I have used KDDCUP99 Dataset for the Intrusion Detection purpose to test the anomolies. Whether we can use both KDDCUP99 and SCADA for the IDS design and compare the performance of the algorithm for both the datasets?
Both Intrusion detection dataset follow different signatures. Therefore, the IDS which you build must be designed in such a way it supports both datasets. I hope, you may get positive results on performance analysis..
Yes sir....I have build adaptive Rule based multi agent system to detect intrusions with the help of kddcup and scada dataset. Whether I can continue my work with this or better to use any other dataset. whether we can use this same for making ids in wireless networks?
