Hi, I'm working with a student who is studying the relationship between exposure to antisocial media and state aggression. The Content-based Media Exposure scale (den Gamer, 2017) is perfect, except we are interested in exposure to auditory media, not visual.

We have contemplated changing the word "watch" to "listen" to achieve this, but I am concerned about the implications validity and reliability of measurement. Also, we are using this in a Jamaican context, so cross-cultural considerations are also in play.

Would love to get some insights on how best to proceed.

Thanks in advance.
