Dear distinguished colleagues,
I observed that the result of plagiarism check of a manuscript including tables, figures and references is often high when compared to the exclusion of the tables, figures and references prior to the duplication check. However, there are different opinions on the subject matter from my findings.
I don't know if there is a standard guideline on how plagiarism of a manuscript should be checked
Should tables, figures and references be included or excluded in a plagiarism check?
