I searched for information about pattern recognition, which means creating a pattern of output data from devices such as each sensor or each actuator or single machine in factories. but most of the studies are about users recognition behaviour patterns. I want to have a behaviour pattern from each device in the factory.
can you advise me, please?

don't think to hard to address this issue. The problem can be simplify to classification task. You need to clearly describe how many patterns you need to detect, whether the pattern is part of the sensor output or the entire output, can the sensor output be considered time series or not, and so on. Once you have the answer to these, then you may choose several ways to solve your problem.

For instance, a fast fingerprint identification system, system for converting handwritten texts to computer text files, face recognition for security systems or identify the information from the sensors that used to give a data form a machine, such as electrocardiography.
All of these examples have something in common; to find the most essential visual properties or features of images that make it distinguishable from others; that features could be classified when used as inputs to ANN.

according to your previous comments you seem to look for solutions to improve security, which does not necessarily call for pattern recognition:
- In the case of the PLCs, some secure communications implementation might prove to be superior to any attempt of pattern recognition - especially when the only reference is the first data exchange after installation.
- For the sensors it somewhat depends on whether you are able to modify their software, or can get security-enabled variants of these.
- The actuators are maybe the worst vulnerability: if a hacker can get physical access to these, you are simply lost. if not: same considerations as for the sensors.
- For cameras you may be able to extract the effects if the intrinsic process fluctuations that make each sensor unique. Although it might prove a difficult task and hardly provides protection against a simple playback approach (recording the scene, playing the record back later). While not completely undetectable, the playback approach might not be discernible from the life image.
