A lot of treated water is flushed in pubic sewer system. A huge quantity of fresh water is being used in construction of new houses. Water table is going down day by day. Whether treated water can be used for these purpose without ant adverse effect on construction material and under ground water environment.

Studies have shown that, with good management, yields can be increased by irrigation with raw or treated liquid wastes (primary and secondary). Organic matter added by wastewater irrigation as soil conditioner increases the soil's ability to store water.
In general, reuse options are:
- Irrigation of crops: Approximately 63% of contaminated water is used to irrigate crops in California after treatment.
- Irrigation of the meadows: gardens - playgrounds - landscapes.
- Industrial uses: For example, "in cooling operations.
- Recreation: artificial lakes can be created for fish or to do entertainment
- Miscellaneous uses: Fire extinguishing water - In construction - Flushing Sewage networks.
- Groundwater discharge: The goal of recharge groundwater includes:
-Provide deeper processing for future reuse.
-Compensation for the shortage of groundwater.
-Increasing ground water reservoirs.
- Feeding wetlands (wetlands)

Researchers Kardos and Sopper from Penn State University published on the uses and added remediation of sewage effluent irrigation in the 1970s, such as soil filtration and reed canary grass planting/harvesting. Whether treated sewage waste water could be used in construction may depend on residual pathogens if materials are handled by construction workers. Uses for garden irrigation for human consumption may be questioned, but irrigation of forests, grasslands that not directly tied to food supply might be acceptable, depending on quality of effluent, pathogens, etc. Many good ideas already provided.
