I am planning to submit a paper at Scientific Reports (Nature Publishing Group) and have some questions regarding the process (as this is my first submission):

- in "guidelines for authors" it says that Methods comes as last section, but when I look at more recent publications from the same journal Methods comes directly after introduction. Which order should I follow?

- how do the coauthors declare that they approve/support the submission / that they are mentioned as coauthors?
