Hello. Is there a way I can run an Abaqus script on an ODB file only through the terminal? Because right now I have to open up the ODB file then run the script, but I'd rather stay in the terminal as I ssh into a cluster to run my job.

Write this in your abaqus command window;
"Abaqus cae noGUI=namescript.py"
OR
"Abaqus cae script=namescript.py"
Write the name of your script instead of namescript. First command will not open abaqus Cae and just create output files but the second will open it.( don't type: ")

You can use this command to open the .odb in noGUI mode :
"import os
os.system("abaqus viewer nogui=yourfile.py")"
