Does anyone know of a "free" software to monitor animal behavior in an open field for novel object recognition test for example. The software needs to detect head from tail as well.

. I don’t have any coding knowledge and Noldus seems To be user friendly. Ethovision requires add-one for tracking head movement and then sniffing/eating/drinking . If you think it’s really good, it could be worth purchasing these add-ons.
