I am interested in researching opportunities to join new and exciting technologies in aviation and aerospace, specifically abroad from the USA. Is there an online resource or European conference where such opportunities could be more easily found? Any suggestions are welcome! Looking for startups, research labs, postdoc positions etc. Thanks!

- Japan/South Korea/China are doing pretty great in startups, particularly Japan and South Korea in nanotech-oriented aero/aviation industries and China in pretty much all types of tech startups, among other Asian competitors.
- Germany/UK/France are also rather funded from European corporates in the region.
- Israel and recently Saudi are also pretty well investing on aero/aviation/defense, among others.
- For post-doc, I'd recommend the UK. Canada and Australia are rather good too.
- Startups & academia/research labs/gov jobs are fully in separate directions. Thus, prior to finding a location, you may probably need to narrow down your choices and get your direction straight. If you are just interested in the industry of aero/aviation, then you may narrow down to topics so that your searching becomes easier.
- I'd pick field(s) of interest first rather than generally looking into opportunities because there are a myriad of them outside of the US which is difficult to prepare applications, particularly for highly educated individuals.
