I appreciate your question but it needs to be clarified more issues.
This is one of the indicators to measure the individual who are an academicians or researchers who have the capability of being conducted many projects and the capacity of being published more publications etc.
The very interesting components of these things are the input of the efforts are made by the respective researchers and output of the works will be reflected by the academic community also matters.
The researcher publications will be cited by other readers or users then the concern researchers citation scores will increase continuously.
There are number of metrics could be increased/measured on daily or weekly or monthly or yearly basis depends upon the subjects background and the necessity of the stakeholders in the society also matters.
As to my knowledge and experience that I came across that the medical fields have more citation impact than the developmental studies.
In which field the research have been conducted are the top most concern of identifying these research metrics aspects.
Many of peers in abroad used to ask me that why our citations are not increasing rather other science disciplines have an opportunity to increase their score more citations automatically.
Over all the world, the significant impact on the medical, biological and science subjects have great impact than other developmental studies.
