I have 2 questions:
1. Do I have to test for reliability and validity the Engaged Teacher Scale - ETS (Klassen et al., 2013) by EFA (Exploratory factor analysis) and CFA (Confirmatory factor analysis) in my research if it’s already a tested for reliability and validity scale?
2. The same question if I use the ETS with my own interview questions, together with other qualitative methods?

I would say that you generally do not need to repeat analyses for reliability if you are working with a sample that is reasonably comparable to the one where the original scale was developed. But if there is the possibility of cross-cultural differences, then I would recommend CFA.
Can you say more about what you want to do with qualitative methods?

1. I found a study using the Engaged Teacher Scale on a similar population, and the authors used KMO measure and the KMO measure of sampling adequacy appeared very high, and together with Cronbach’s Alpha applied, these confirmed that the adequacy of the magnitude of the correlation was met.
2. Observations, focus groups and in-depth interviews are among the qualitative methods I am planning to use.
