Dear Colleagues,
I am looking for a basic protocol to process rodents testicles and ovaries to examine their general histological structures as well as to examine spermatogenesis and folliculogenesis respectively.
I used to refer to McManus-Mowry or Bancroft, but I lost my physical books somewhere... Could you help me if the ebook version is available?
Or... I would be happy if you have another recommended references for me. Thank you :)

I have done lot of times ovary and testis histology and do not recognize the name you are mentioning. But General protocol for other tissues applies to to these tissues as well. Here are sites which is ocean for Histology and IHC world. You can dig it out, I am sure you will find those steps. Best of luck,

For general observation of rodent testicle histology I strongly recommend the Bouin’s fixative (Protocol: "combine 75 mL of saturated picric acid, 25 mL of formalin, and 5 mL of glacial acetic acid"). For better morphological results, I'd indicate to embbed them in small blocks of historesin instead of paraplast. And stain them in PAS protocol (periodic acid Schiff).
I don't have much experience with ovaries (I've worked with testis for ~5 years), but the same fixative has worked well in the few opportunities I had to so (emb: paraplast).
