We are planning a survey in which participants are supposed to fill in a survey multiple times. As it is not possible to identify different participants via id codes due to data safety issues, we are planning on creating peronalized urls for every participant. The url which was used to access the survey should be saved as a variable to the data set. I know that for example soscisurvey allows this via reference links. Is there a similar opportunity using Redcap?

The project may have a mixture of surveys and/or data entry forms.
Please note:
• If the first instrument is a survey, add the list of email addresses to the participant list. Send the survey invitation from the ‘Participant List’ section or by defining an automated invitation.
• If the first instrument is a data entry form, create a text field with validation = email in the first instrument to enter the email address of participants. In project setup, designate the email field to use for invitations to survey participants.
Automated Survey Invitations
The survey invite is sent automatically when either…
• A earlier survey is completed, -or-
• An expression is satisfied (i.e., the value of one or more fields on data forms/surveys satisfies the entered expression)
thank you very much for your answer! unfortunately- also due to data safety regulations- we are not allowed to save the email adresses of the participants to redcap, we are going to send the urls extra, so that only part of the study group will be able to link the urls to the participants. is there still a way to have individual urls, so that the other part of the study group will be able to link various responses of one individual without using a study id?
You may want to use Qualtrics for those cases where you need to use a third-party mail system to distribute survey invitations but also need to track which response belongs to which recipient, Qualtrics can generate a list of unique, or “Personal”, survey links.
You may want to use Anonymous Link: Each participant receives the Anonymous Link. This link cannot track the identity of the respondent except for certain GeoIP details that can be disabled. The Anonymous Link does not expire.
If the Anonymous Link and Multiple Completes Link do not appear under the Link Type drop down menu you will need to change the setting from By Invitation Only to Open Access in the Survey Protection section of your Survey Options. Hope this helps.
