Researcher using C57BL/6NJ mice here. My question is, has anyone using this particular strain of mice noticed a reduced sensitivity to ethanol? My lab was conducting a LORR experiment on our mice and used 4g/kg doses of 20% EtOH. Only two of the nine mice we ran went down. All the others just stumbled around their cages like happy little drunk mice. Does this strain have a reduced sensitivity to ethanol? I'm looking into the literature to find an answer, but haven't come up with anything on this specific strain so far. Thank you in advance for any and all help!
