I test a HB STE 380Nb and I found significant diference Head vs Tail: 590 MPa TS on Head vs 372MPa TS on Tail; YS is coherent with the TS values but again, diference Heasd vs Tail is big. %E is basically the same, Longitudinal direction is higher than tensile (significantly higher as well).
On previous materials I haven't see this huge difference. At microstrcutural level there is not something as obvious as a grain size diference of segregation (with an OM using 1000X and Nital). Any Ideas?
