I just wonder to which extent ROS like OH radicals or H2O2 can be generated in aqueous solutions. I know that there are papers about water radiolysis from 100-200nm, but any ideas about daylight (including UV-A) or heat?
it depends on the nature of the water. some hydrogen peroxide can be produced in droplets without o2. condensates can also produce it. really good recent paper in Chem on this.
