In my RCS project, I have a measurement result of the target which is in dbm (power received). So here is a question, how can I transform this received power (dbm) to the radar cross section value (dbsm). I also have the measurement result (dbm) and the theory result (dbsm) for a simple rectangle which is used as a so-called calibrator.
I appreciate any materials, references, books to explain the procedure.

it is all about the formula "Pr=[(Pt.Gt.Gr.lambda^2)/(4pi^3.R^4)] . sigma", which Pr is received power(w) and sigma is radar cross section(m^2) . take the log of both sides, then "Pr(dbm)=(delta) + sigma(dbsm)", we call delta as a calibration number.
now pick the Plate as a reference to find this delta. for the plate you have its measured Pr(dbm) & its simulated(software or theory) sigma(dbsm), thus delta is derived.(you can use "the peak, the average or peak average" of your 360 deg data)
from now and then use this delta to transform measured Pr(dbm) of your any tested structure to radar cross section(dbsm) value.
