Dear RG members - I truly believe that if we are what today in total understanding of all improvements in all concepts of
life with all today's achievement in this world --- the reason was ---- "HUNGER" ---- This one and only reason made mankind in search of food took the toll of all to know and to reason and be the best and the never ending QUEST of all achievements started. please reason out is this the truth OR educate me if there is something else. - Thanks in advance.
I agree with you, Tajudeen. The need to feed ourselves is the prime motivation for just about all of our industriousness and innovativeness. It was originally the idea of "division of labor" that allowed people to trade their specific talents for food in return, which then permitted humans to advance technologically much more rapidly than they otherwise would have. Those who were more expert at hunting provided the food, those were more mechanically inclined designed and built the weapons to facilitate the hunt, or made better living accommodations, or developed agriculture to reduce the need for laborious hunting.

Interesting question. If was not this biological process, we may occupied our lives in another activities. This is natural sensacional. However human being try to find another occupation which make him dependent. (ex: Internet dependence)
I would like to agree, especially when I follow the ideas of Ester Boserup, who felt that the more people are around the more brains and hands to innovate and to implements innovations. As long as people have enough food there was little incentive to grow more (why should they, just to let the surplus spoil). Innovations come up when populations grow and productivity needs to increase (an alternative to increase in productivity is to extend the agricultural areas.....).
I also see other reasons to be creative and innovative: to increase power, to overcome others also enhance innovation. Expenditure for arms production, funding in the security industry is not related to hunger, but also has been a driving force to innovations. Military power, e.g. the arms race during the cold war, was also a major shaper of the world. One could argue, if such struggle for power has biological foundations,....
