Philospohical questions yield philosophical answers and none is wrong nor correct since it's not scientificaly falsifiable.
However, I'd say both views are correct since the mind is embodied, i.e. it's linked with the physicial body. If you close your eyes you still have a sense of self and on the other hand in the physical/tnagible world when you look at the mirror you get the image of your body as well as it is known that physiological states of the body and concentrations of various chemicals like ions, hormones etc. in blood, organs, brain affect the mind. There's no true answer, one has to generate it on his own and accept one view that will satisfy his quest for this philosphical problem. I wish you all the best!
Thank you Karli Toljan. Actualy there is nothing scientific or non scientific. A theory is scientific in a system if it do not break the consistency of a system based on a sound assumption system.
