I have a database with thousands of articles sorted by relevance for a selected topic. How to select the top relevant using a quantitative method? Unfortunately, I have no ranking score for each article. Using expert mode is clear.
The greater number of key words that you use in you your search specifically in the journal article title and/or abstract, the more relevant the articles become and the fewer in search results! IF there are too few, then start decreasing the number of key words. You can also reduce the number of articles by narrowing the year of publication to the more recent articles.
If you want to narrow down the number of Articles for review from database, you may look in to the articles which have similar objectives abd variables. Moreover you may also look into the articles only having similar keywords and objectives of the study.
