Dear all,
I am looking for topics that apply qualitative research methods in computer science.
The basic goal is making an investigation about it. However, I am not familiar in what ways can a qualitative method be applied in computer science. An example that I found is using experiments for software engineering.
I am looking for similar topics on similar combinations of the two domains that make sense, in order to use them later to search for scientific papers on Google Scholar.

Conference Paper Qualitative research in computer science education
Good response from Mary. Median - anything that involves an 'experiment' will not be qualitative. Essentially, qualitative research would involve interviewing or observing participants involved in computer science and asking them their opinions, beliefs, values, experiences etc around a particular phenomenon. The attached are several qualitative chapters related to qualitative research process. They are nursing and midwifery focused - but the principles are generic to any discipline.
