Due to my own human error, I chose to go in a certain direction with my project-investigating a rather rare SNP and its effect on scarring. As expected, all my samples typed as wild-type(both controls and patients). I'd still like to publish this somewhere, exactly because it was a poor avenue and I didn't realise what I was getting myself into-if one researcher can snicker while reading my paper and then avoid my mistake or know what they're getting into, it could still be a win.

Has anyone here been in my situation? Do you have any pointers, or maybe journal suggestions?

Thank you!
