Profex - how to get phases ( Cementite, M23C6, M7C3 and M3C2) in steel using XRD data?

I am using profex software for XRD. I need carbide segregation (Cementite, M23C6, M7C3 and M3C2). How to detect those phases and from where to import those .str files?

If you have XRD data from a bulk sample of steel, it may be very hard to detect minor precipitated phases. If you have a regular Cu anode and no monochromator on the detector Fe will fluoresce and obscure the peaks from other phases. You could consider procedures of chemically separating the carbides from the matrix by dissolution and filtration. Once you have a diffractogram containing the peaks of your carbides you can analyze it using reference spectra as the other commenter mentioned.
