Hi there,

Im using the technique described in the attached links to transfer a film of SWCNTs, DoubleWall CNTS and MWCNTs.

In short, I use SDS to sollubilize the CNTs  at 1mg/mL.  First 10 mins of probe sonication and then add  water to make a solution of about 1mg/100mL.  After, pass the mixture through a 0.02um pore size filter (Whatman Anodisc inorganic filter membrane ) using an all-glass vacuum microfiltration apparatus.

The deposited film is then washed with de-ionized water.  I bring PDMS stamps in contact with the deposited film so it gets tranfered to the PDMS.  According to the references,  I can transfer the film of CNTs to glass by press contacting (I assume, some pressure is required) the PDMS+CNTs with the glass in the presence of heat.

I press the PDMS against a standard glass slide and set them on a hot plate at 100°C for over a minute.  Unfortunately this step doesn't seem to work at all.  The transfer is barely happening and the CNTs remain attached to the PDMS stamps all the time.

If you scratch the surface of the PDMS+CNTs they are easily removed but the transfer doesn't really happens.  Has anyone tried this technique in the past that could shed some light into the procedure??  Am I missing something here?
