Hi there. I have a PL setup that uses a 532 nm laser as excitation source and an InGaAs CCD photodetector. At the entrance of the spectrometer I setup a 532nm Longpass filter and if the signal goes in the IR, I add an extra 850nm long pass filter. This cuts well the green light coming from the laser source. However, at 1064nm, 1596nm and so on I find strong peaks that get really annoying when taking measures that happen to be around those.
What would be the best way to get rid of these harmonic peaks? Does it have to do with proper alignment and the entrance angle of the PL signal through the filters? Any suggestions?? Please let me know if you need more information
