well i found bacterial growth (GM negative one)in purified water sample but the TOC reading was within the limit ...my question here ..is whenever i find bacterial growth the toc should be high or there is no linear relation ???!!!
I think you believe the puified water may not have been adequately treated because the TOC was too high. The bottle may have been contaminated after treatment in the distribution and bottling process. Even a person sneezing in the bottling section with the air circulation blower on might be enough. You may want to decide is this a one time occurance or onging problem. Is the bacteria life threatening or not? How far to pursue? I would contact the company, or if illness was potentially caused, legal advice perhaps if this appears negligent Quality Control.
no i mean that the toc of the sample is within the limit but there is a bacterial growth is that a conflict ? it is supposed that the toc of the sample should be high whenever there is a bacterial growth ???!!
