of course, the software system is a product in which quality is to be managed throughout its life cycle.

We also understand the software system as a service in which it is important to respect customer requirements.

The quality of software systems versus software systems to promote quality - that's not the same, though very similar terms.

We focus more on CAQ in business management, especially in automotive.

The subject is close to my heart since I started a P.G. Programme for the degree of Masters in Technology in discipline " Total Quality Engineering and management" leading to M. Tech (TQEM), at Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh.. Earlier I had instituted a course " Computer Aided Metallurgical Engg. Design) in about 2000, upgraded from Metallurgical Engg. Design included into syllabus of undergrad prog .

Now you understand why did I mention your course name partially ;-).

There was a bigger purpose here.

It is to remind that the understanding of subject 'Quality Management Systems" itself is very vital.

@ Srdjan Atanasijevic : Your job is relatively simpler than that of Renata Janošcová. Because you don't have to differentiate between 'Quality Management' as a system, or Management of 'Quality System'.

I can help you with case studies specially related to process maps and corrective/preventive actions.

I was till recently a faculty on QMS with BITS Pilani. This was a paper for their students of MBA and M.Tech.

I have also written a book "Understanding QMS-2015" available from amazon.com

Regarding CAQ, the softwares available are mostly for tracking the inputs e.g calibration due dates. There are also softwares for tracking the training/competency clause.

You can add inspection through artificial vision and measurement of point clouds.

Microsoft Excel is a great software, and I used it almost every session in my class. Sigma XL and even MS Excel based SPC tools are also available.

I used Minitab for my projects and research.

there are several proprietary modules for assistance in various quality functions or tools. I used for VSM, SWOT and so on. tools make it simpler, but students must learn the hard way.

for CA QMS - the first question is regarding the type of customer (or the operator) in your class?

Are they software engineering or other students of Quality engineering -(Customers), or they are the QMS software developers (operators)?
