first download the landsat satellite image from usgs earth explorer of your study area with minimum cloud cover and use the erdas imagine software for the further land use land cover mapping so you can calculate the area of different land use patterens according to the pixels count and you can compare the two LULC maps and their respective areas and then analyse the change or difference from the previous one.
