For the purppose of very small feature detection, pattern recognition, ect with higher pricision and speed using a high resolution camera, which is the best solution amoung Matlab, Halcon, LabView, OpenCV, nVision, Matrox Imaging Library (MIL)? I am good with image processing in Matlab and OpenCV. But, others are new for me. Thanks in advance for your advices and help.
In case if your problem is big enough and can be processed parallel, then you should consider GPU processing (CUDA C++) with OpenCV library.
For this, you have to consider how much overhead would you generate and is it worth it?
MATLAB is one of the best solutions for your problem. If you have the parallel programming skills you can reduce the computational time drastically without compromising the accuracy.
